NovaTech Solutions is seeking a Senior IT DevOps Engineer to join our growing platform team in San Francisco. You will design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and security controls to support our mission-critical services.

Responsibility
- Lead design and implementation of scalable, secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and multi-cloud environments.
- Own CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and monitoring with industry-standard tooling.
- Collaborate with software engineers, security, and SRE teams to ensure reliability and performance.
- Automate configuration, deployment, and incident response using IaC and scripting.
- Maintain compliance, security best practices, and governance across the stack.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or IT infrastructure engineering.
- Strong expertise in cloud providers (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, and containerization.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet).
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash); solid Linux administration background.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions) and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Security-minded with knowledge of IAM, network segmentation, and incident response.
