Join our innovative Information Technology organization as a Senior IT Engineer based in Seattle. You will design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure, drive reliability initiatives, and collaborate with security and product teams to deliver seamless tech experiences for customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibility

  • Design, implement, and operate scalable cloud and on-prem infrastructure (servers, storage, networks) that meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead migration and modernization projects across platforms (AWS/Azure, virtualization, containerization).
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using IaC and DevOps practices (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD).
  • Collaborate with software engineers, security, and SRE teams to ensure reliability, incident response, and post-incident reviews.
  • Establish and enforce security baselines, patch management, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Mentor junior engineers, perform code reviews, and promote best practices in IT operations.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement proactive improvements.
  • Maintain documentation and runbooks to support efficient incident handling and knowledge transfer.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT infrastructure and operations experience in enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), virtualization, networking, and OS administration (Linux and Windows).
  • Proven experience with IaC and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Solid understanding of security practices, identity and access management, and incident response.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to influence across teams.
  • Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP) are preferred.
