BluePeak Technologies is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join our dynamic Seattle-based team. This role focuses on building scalable infrastructure and software solutions that empower our clients and internal teams.
As a Senior IT Engineer, you will work across the full technology stack, partner with product and security teams, and drive best practices in cloud adoption, automation, and reliability.
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable IT infrastructure and applications aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-native solutions on AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and monitoring dashboards to ensure fast, reliable releases.
- Troubleshoot complex incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure security best practices, governance, and compliance across systems and data.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and cost through IaC and architectural improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps and code reviews.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on IT engineering, cloud, or DevOps experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Go) and scripting (Bash/PowerShell).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of Linux/Windows administration, networking basics, and security best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
