Responsibility
- Lead design, deployment, and optimization of cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS for multiple projects.
- Develop and maintain scalable on-prem and hybrid environments, including virtualization, storage, and backup strategies.
- Design, implement, and enforce security controls, IAM, encryption, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with software teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release processes.
- Troubleshoot complex incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventative controls.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and contribute to technology roadmap decisions.
- Manage vendor relationships, licensing, procurement, and budget planning for IT initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of progressive IT infrastructure engineering experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration, virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), and storage concepts.
- Hands-on experience with networking, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and monitoring/alerting tools.
- Proficient in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) and automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
- Experience with security frameworks, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
