BlueNova Technologies is expanding its Cloud & Infrastructure team in San Francisco and seeks a Senior IT Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable IT systems.
In this role you will own the transformation of our infrastructure, harness automation, and partner with product, security, and operations to deliver reliable, secure platforms.

Responsibility
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Lead IaC initiatives using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with software engineers to build robust CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident response procedures for high availability.
- Enforce security best practices, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience with a focus on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab).
- Strong understanding of security, networking, and incident management.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
