In this role you will collaborate with product and engineering teams, own infrastructure as code, implement security and compliance controls, and drive performance, monitoring, and cost optimization. You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of excellence.
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and hybrid environments
- Lead migration and modernization projects with a focus on reliability and security
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices
- Collaborate with software engineers and product teams to optimize performance and cost
- Establish IaC standards using Terraform or CloudFormation and enforce infrastructure governance
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, participate in architectural reviews
- Drive security best practices and regulatory compliance across platforms
Qualification
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of IT or cloud engineering experience with strong cloud platform exposure
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure or GCP, including networking and security
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash and experience with Linux
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem solving
- Cloud certifications are a plus
