We are seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our clients' cloud and on-premises infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance across complex environments.
What you will do as part of our team:
Responsibility
- Architect and implement scalable IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS and Azure) with a focus on reliability and cost optimization.
- Design and deploy secure networks, identity and access management, and backup/recovery strategies.
- Lead migrations and modernization projects including virtualization, containerization, and automation pipelines.
- Collaborate with software engineers to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code ( Terraform, Ansible ).
- Monitor and improve performance, capacity planning, and incident response processes.
- Establish and enforce security best practices, compliance, and disaster recovery planning.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide hands-on training to cross-functional teams.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of IT infrastructure engineering experience.
- Strong experience with AWS and Azure, networking concepts, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and Linux/Windows server administration.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible; experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Security-focused mindset with knowledge of IAM, firewalling, encryption, and incident response.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to interact with executive stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (eg, AWS, Azure, CCNA/CCNP) are strongly preferred.
