Join Lumina Beauty Collective, a premium makeup studio specializing in beauty, fashion, and editorial projects. We are seeking a Senior Makeup Artist with a refined eye for skin, lighting, and storytelling. This role blends highâprofile events, film/TV projects, editorial shoots, and luxury weddings. You will lead makeup artistry on set, collaborate with photographers, wardrobe stylists, and hair artists, and mentor junior artists.
As a key member of our team, you will deliver flawless makeup in studio and on location, advise on skincare and product choices, and ensure continuity across shoots. You will also manage your kit, uphold sanitation standards, and stay ahead of beauty trends to elevate every project from concept to completion. Travel for shoots and events may be required.
Responsibility
- Lead makeup artistry for onâset shoots, events, and studio productions, ensuring flawless results under varied lighting conditions.
- Collaborate with photographers, wardrobe stylists, and hair artists to realize creative concepts and brand aesthetics.
- Consult with clients to determine vision, skin types, and preferred finishes; provide recommendations and trials when requested.
- Design and execute makeup looks for editorial, commercial, bridal, and redâcarpet campaigns, adapting to different aesthetics and timelines.
- Maintain an organized, highâend makeup kit; manage product inventory, replacements, and sanitation per industry standards.
- Stay current with trends, skincare science, and new products; mentor junior artists and share techniques during team sessions.
- Travel to shoots and events as required; manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines on location.
Qualification
- 5+ years of professional makeup artistry experience across beauty, editorial, bridal, and commercial work.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility, skin work, color theory, and editorial looks.
- Proficiency with luxury makeup brands, tools, and techniques, including airbrush and prosthetic makeup.
- Excellent communication, client service, and onâset professionalism; ability to take and implement direction.
- In-depth knowledge of sanitation standards, hygiene, and kit organization; ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Flexibility to travel for assignments; willingness to work evenings, weekends, and varying schedules.
- Beauty licensing is not required, but a solid understanding of skincare and complexion science is essential.
