NovaNet Technologies, a leading provider of enterprise IT solutions, is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure networks across data centers and cloud environments. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge routing, switching, security, and automation technologies in a fast-growing tech hub.
In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and robust security across all network layers. You will own complex networking projects from design through implementation and operations.
Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and optimize complex LAN and WAN architectures to support 24/7 operations.
- Configure and maintain routing and switching protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP), VLANs, QoS, and IPv6 in data centers and branch offices.
- Manage network security infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust integration.
- Plan capacity, monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and lead remediation efforts.
- Automate network provisioning and operations using Python, Ansible, and related tools.
- Collaborate with cloud and application teams to ensure reliable hybrid cloud connectivity (AWS/Azure/GCP) and SD-WAN adoption.
- Develop runbooks, perform on-call support, and mentor junior engineers.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on network engineering in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper) with industry certifications preferred (CCNA/CCNP, JNCIP).
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPv6, and data center networking.
- Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS) and multi-cloud connectivity.
- Proficient scripting and automation skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform) for network automation and orchestration.
