Responsibility
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise network architectures across LAN, WAN, data centers, and cloud connectivity.
- Manage routing and switching, firewall policies, VPNs, and load balancers to ensure high availability and security.
- Lead network performance monitoring, capacity planning, and incident response with measurable SLAs.
- Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams to architect hybrid networks (AWS, Azure, SaaS).
- Develop and maintain network documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and orchestration tools to improve reliability and speed.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct design reviews, and uphold best practices.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field; 5+ years of enterprise networking experience.
- Certifications: CCNA and/or CCNP required; CCIE a plus.
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, and WAN technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus/ASR and Juniper networks; familiarity with Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls.
- Experience with cloud networking in AWS or Azure and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in network automation using Python, Ansible, or similar tools; comfortable with scripting and infrastructure as code.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem solving in cross functional teams.
- Security-focused mindset with understanding of IDS/IPS, threat monitoring, and zero trust concepts.
