NovaNet Solutions is seeking aSenior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize scalable networks for a diverse client base. Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise networks across data centers, campus, and cloud environments.
- Configure and manage routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) and switching fabric (NX-OS, IOS-XE, JunOS).
- Implement robust security controls including firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, and identity-driven access.
- Lead network automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, or similar tools to reduce manual toil and improve repeatability.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and security incidents with tools like Wireshark, NetFlow, and SNMP.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams to design scalable, resilient architectures.
- Create comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams; mentor junior engineers.
Qualification
- 5+ years of hands-on enterprise networking experience with design, deployment, and support of complex networks.
- Strong expertise in BGP, OSPF, and MPLS; experience with data center fabrics (Cisco, Juniper).
- Experience with SD-WAN and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Hands-on firewall and security experience (Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Experience with network automation and scripting (Python preferred; Ansible or Netmiko).
- Solid understanding of IPv6, QoS, and network telemetry; familiarity with monitoring tools (Wireshark, PRTG, SolarWinds).
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP or equivalent; CCIE is a plus.
