NovaNet Solutions is seeking a seasoned Senior Network Engineer to join our growing team in Singapore. You will design, deploy, and optimize high-availability networks across on-prem and cloud environments, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.
As a key member of our Network Operations team, you will collaborate with Security, IT, and DevOps to deliver scalable solutions, mentor engineers, and uphold best practices in network design and operations.

Responsibility
- Design and deploy enterprise network architectures (LAN/WAN, data centers, cloud connectivity) for performance and reliability.
- Manage routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching fabrics (EVPN/VXLAN), and QoS across multi-site environments.
- Lead network security initiatives: firewall rules, VPNs, zero-trust access, segmentation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance; drive capacity planning and incident response; implement disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with Cloud & DevOps teams on AWS/Azure/GCP connectivity, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Create and maintain network documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures; ensure changes follow ITIL processes.
- Mentor junior engineers; participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and operating large-scale enterprise networks.
- Deep expertise in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and data center fabrics (VXLAN/EVPN).
- Experience with network security devices (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) and VPN technologies.
- Cloud connectivity experience (AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, VPN, Transit Gateway).
- Industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE are preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
- Strong communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
