As a Senior Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize complex network infrastructures across on-prem and cloud integrations. You will collaborate with security, data center, and virtualization teams to deliver resilient, scalable, and secure solutions.
Key responsibilities and opportunities include leading network design discussions, configuring and maintaining routing and switching platforms, ensuring high availability, and automating routine tasks to improve efficiency.
Responsibility
- Lead network design and implementation for enterprise environments, including data center, WAN, and campus networks.
- Plan and execute routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, QoS, and VPN strategies across multi-site deployments.
- Configure and maintain core switching and routing platforms (Cisco/Juniper), ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement firewall policies, segmentation, and zero-trust networking.
- Automate operational tasks using scripting and tooling to reduce mean time to repair and improve consistency.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance with industry-standard tools and dashboards.
- Provide technical mentorship and documentation for operations teams.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on networking experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS and/or Juniper Junos; familiarity with SDN and network automation tools.
- Proficiency with network monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning.
- Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and strong communication abilities.
- Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/NCIE, or equivalent are preferred.
