Responsibility
- Design, implement, and operate enterprise network infrastructure spanning data centers, campuses, and cloud environments.
- Lead routing and switching initiatives (BGP, OSPF, IPv6), firewall policies, VPNs, and WAN optimization, ensuring high availability.
- Architect and deploy SD-WAN and software defined networking solutions to improve performance and resilience.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams to enforce network security controls and compliance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis of complex network incidents; manage change and configuration in collaboration with operations teams.
- Mentor junior engineers, develop runbooks, and maintain comprehensive network documentation and diagrams.
- Analyze capacity, perform performance tuning, and plan capacity and migrations for growth and cloud adoption.
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; 5+ years of enterprise networking experience.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE; vendor specific credentials highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and IPv6; experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Juniper Junos, and Arista EOS.
- Hands-on experience with data center and campus switching, LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN technologies.
- Experience with cloud networking AWS, Azure, GCP and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Proficiency in network automation and scripting Python, Ansible and familiarity with monitoring tools SolarWinds, DNAC, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and written documentation skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non technical stakeholders.
