As a Senior Network Engineer, you will lead architecture and operations for complex LAN/WAN environments, implement SD-WAN, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IPv6, QoS, firewall policy, and VPN solutions. You will collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams, develop network automation scripts, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end design and deployment of enterprise networks, including campus, data center, and WAN architectures.
- Configure and optimize routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching (VLANs, VRFs).
- Design and implement network security controls, firewall policies, VPNs, and segmentation strategies.
- Plan and execute SD-WAN and WAN optimization projects; monitor performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain network automation using Python, Ansible, and REST APIs; create CI/CD pipelines for networking tasks.
- Perform network monitoring, capacity planning, and troubleshooting; lead root-cause analysis and incident response.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and participate in vendor management and RFPs.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking.
- Proven expertise with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, and VXLAN; IPv6 experience.
- Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet), VPNs, and zero-trust concepts.
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, QoS, and WAN optimization.
- Proficient in network automation: Python, Ansible, REST APIs; scripting and toolchains.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills; ability to lead cross-functional projects.
- Relevant certifications (CCNP/CCIE, NSE, CCDP) preferred.
