Responsibility
- Lead design and deployment of enterprise network architectures including data center, campus, and WAN environments
- Manage routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching (VLANs, VRFs), and IP services with high availability
- Implement and monitor network security controls (firewalls, ACLs, ASA/Fortinet) and segmentation
- Drive network automation using Python, Ansible, and orchestration tools to reduce manual toil
- Troubleshoot complex incidents and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams to ensure reliable connectivity to cloud and hybrid environments
- Evaluate and manage network vendors, solutions, and capacity planning
- Document designs, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for global teams
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years in network engineering with hands-on experience in large-scale enterprise networks
- Proven experience with Cisco IOS/XE, Nexus; familiarity with Juniper is a plus
- Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VRFs, MPLS, VPNs, and data center fabrics
- SD-WAN experience and cloud connectivity (AWS/Azure) is preferred
- Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform)
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Industry certifications such as CCNP/CCIE or equivalent
