Responsibility
- Design, implement, and optimize LAN/WAN infrastructures including routing, switching, and wireless as needed.
- Plan and deploy enterprise network architectures using Cisco and/or Juniper platforms with modern security controls.
- Manage firewall policies, VPNs, and secure remote access; implement segmentation and zero-trust concepts.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and dev teams to integrate networks with cloud services and SaaS apps.
- Automate provisioning and configuration management using Python, Ansible, or similar tooling.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on enterprise networking experience with strong fundamentals in TCP/IP, switching, and routing.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent (CCIE preferred).
- Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, QoS, VPN technologies, and firewall platforms (Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Linux-based operating experience and scripting (Python, Bash) for automation.
- Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools (Wireshark, NetFlow, SNMP) and network automation tools (Ansible).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills; ability to collaborate across teams.
