Join NexionTech Solutions as a Senior Network Engineer and help design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade networks in a fast-paced technology environment. This role offers hands-on networking, collaboration with security and cloud teams, and opportunities to architect scalable solutions.
You will work on routing, switching, data center fabrics, WAN connectivity, and network automation to support mission-critical applications across multiple regions.
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade IP networks (LAN/WAN) including data centers and cloud integrations.
- Manage routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching (Cisco/Juniper) to ensure high availability and performance.
- Lead network security initiatives, firewall policies, VPNs, and segmentation to protect critical assets.
- Plan and execute network monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis using modern tooling.
- Collaborate with developers and cloud engineers to integrate networking with AWS, Azure, or private clouds.
- Automate network provisioning and change management using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Mentor junior engineers, perform capacity planning, and document network architectures.
- Evaluate new networking technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of enterprise networking experience with hands-on routing/switching, data center fabrics, and WAN design.
- Proficiency with Cisco IOS-XE/NX-OS, Juniper Junos, and related hardware; CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certifications are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, and QoS; experience with SD-WAN is preferred.
- Experience with network security concepts, firewall policies, VPNs, and zero-trust architectures.
- Programming/scripting skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform) for automation and orchestration.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- U.S. work authorization or valid work permit; willingness to travel occasionally if required.
