Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and operate scalable enterprise networks across WAN, LAN, data centers, and cloud connections
- Configure and optimize routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP) and switching infrastructures
- Lead MPLS, VPN, and SD-WAN implementations with high availability requirements
- Implement and tune network security controls including firewalls, VPNs, and micro-segmentation
- Monitor performance, capacity planning, and incident response to ensure 99.99% uptime
- Collaborate with IT, security, and application teams to translate requirements into robust network designs
- Develop runbooks, document topology changes, and mentor junior engineers
- Drive automation and scripting initiatives to reduce manual toil and improve consistency
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; 5+ years of enterprise network experience
- Deep knowledge of routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs), with hands-on Cisco IOS and Juniper Junos
- Experience with SD-WAN, VPN technologies, firewall platforms, and security best practices
- Strong scripting or programming skills (Python preferred) and familiarity with network automation tools
- Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to balance technical depth with clear business-focused communication
