Job description
NovaNet Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our global network infrastructure. This role centers on building robust, secure, and scalable networks across data centers, cloud environments, and campus deployments. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive network modernization initiatives and ensure high availability, performance, and security.
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will contribute to architecture, standards, and automation that empower our engineering teams to move quickly and confidently.
Responsibility
- Design and implement scalable, secure enterprise networks across data centers, WAN, and cloud environments.
- Configure and optimize routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, firewall policies, VPNs, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Lead network provisioning, upgrades, migrations, and incident response with rigorous change control and documentation.
- Implement network automation using Python, Ansible, or similar tools to reduce manual toil and error.
- Monitor network health with modern observability platforms, perform performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams to enforce best practices and compliance.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on networking experience in enterprise or service provider environments.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP/CCIE or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, QoS, IPv6, VPN technologies, and firewall platforms.
- Experience with data center networking, load balancing, and cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proficiency in network automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell) and operational tooling (Wireshark, tcpdump).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work across time zones.
