Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise network architectures across data centers, campuses, and cloud environments.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, load balancers, and security appliances from vendors such as Cisco and Juniper.
- Implement and maintain routing policies (BGP/OSPF), QoS, VLANs, and VPNs to ensure secure and efficient connectivity.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, perform capacity planning, and develop runbooks for rapid recovery.
- Lead SD-WAN initiatives and cloud networking integrations (AWS, Azure, and private clouds).
- Enforce network security controls, segmentation, firewall rules, and intrusion prevention integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and contribute to change management and documentation.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field; 5+ years in network engineering.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or equivalent; CCIE preferred.
- Deep expertise in TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, switching, VLANs, QoS, and network design principles.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS-XE/NX-OS, Junos, and firewall platforms (e.g., ASA, Fortinet).
- Proven experience with SD-WAN, VPN technologies, and cloud networking (AWS/VPC, Azure VNets).
- Strong incident response, troubleshooting, and on-call readiness with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to document network designs, create runbooks, and collaborate with stakeholders.
