In this role you will design, implement, and optimize complex networks that span data centers, campuses, and cloud integrations. You will work closely with security, cloud, and application teams to ensure reliability, performance, and strong governance.

Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise networks including data centers, campus, and WAN connectivity.
- Manage routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS; implement QoS and traffic engineering.
- Lead SD-WAN deployment, VPN connectivity, and remote site integration.
- Implement network security controls including firewall policy, segmentation, and IDS/IPS integration.
- Champion network automation using Python, Ansible or similar tooling to reduce mean time to repair and manual toil.
- Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams; provide mentorship to junior engineers.
- Create, review, and maintain network diagrams, runbooks, and change management documentation.
- Perform capacity planning and DR/BCP testing; monitor and tune network performance.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; 5+ years in enterprise networking.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are preferred; CCNA is a baseline.
- Deep expertise with TCP/IP, routing, switching, MPLS, VPN, and firewall technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper platforms; proficiency in network monitoring and telemetry tools.
- Proficiency in network automation and scripting, preferably Python; familiarity with IaC concepts.
- Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP; knowledge of SD-WAN architectures.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Occasional on-call support and willingness to participate in shared rotation.
