We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to lead design and implementation across WAN, data center, and cloud connectivity, with emphasis on reliability, security, and scalability.
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise networks including WAN, LAN, data centers, and cloud connectivity.
- Lead routing and switching architectures using BGP, OSPF, and VLAN design; enforce best practices for performance and resilience.
- Define and implement security policies, firewall rules, VPNs, and zero-trust considerations.
- Evaluate and deploy SD-WAN, network automation, and monitoring solutions to improve efficiency and visibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable network designs.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct peer reviews, and promote secure coding and operation practices.
- Troubleshoot complex network incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on networking experience in enterprise environments.
- Deep knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching (VLANs, STP), and network design.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent are preferred.
- Experience with Cisco IOS and Juniper Junos; familiarity with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto) and VPN technologies.
- Strong scripting or automation skills (Python, Ansible, or similar) and familiarity with network monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Wireshark).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
