Join PulseGrid Technologies, a leader in enterprise networking solutions. We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize scalable networks across hybrid environments. You will partner with security, cloud, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance connectivity.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of network infrastructure—from planning and design through implementation and ongoing optimization. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, mentor teammates, and influence network strategy.
Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and optimize scalable enterprise networks across data centers, branches, and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and DevOps teams to implement robust, secure connectivity and segmentation.
- Lead network migrations to SD-WAN, VXLAN, and software-defined networking solutions.
- Manage routing and switching with protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and VLAN QoS policies.
- Configure and manage network devices (Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent) and firewall platforms; implement automation where appropriate.
- Monitor performance, conduct root-cause analysis, and troubleshoot outages with data-driven approaches.
- Create and maintain network documentation, runbooks, and standards; mentor junior engineers.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; 5+ years of enterprise networking experience.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, and WAN technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus/ASR, Juniper MX, and firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).
- Experience with SD-WAN, VPNs, cloud connectivity, and network security best practices.
- Proficiency in network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform) and monitoring tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG).
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or higher); ability to obtain vendor credentials as needed.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills; comfort working in hybrid environments.
