NetForge Technologies is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to architect, deploy, and optimize our enterprise network. You will own WAN, data center, and cloud connectivity across multi-site environments, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. This is a hands-on role that blends engineering excellence with strategic collaboration.

Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and optimize scalable WAN/LAN architectures across multiple sites, including data centers and cloud connectivity.
- Provision and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers with a focus on reliability, security, and performance.
- Lead network monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analysis; drive continuous improvement through metrics and runbooks.
- Develop and implement automation (Python, Ansible) to reduce manual tasks and accelerate changes.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams to deliver end-to-end network solutions that meet business needs.
- Mentor junior engineers, create design standards, and maintain comprehensive documentation and runbooks.
- Plan capacity, conduct risk assessments, and manage vendor relationships and budgets for network initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise networks, including data centers, WAN, and cloud connectivity.
- Strong expertise in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF), IP services, and network security concepts.
- Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent vendor credentials.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/XE/NX-OS or Juniper Junos and firewall platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Proficiency in network automation and scripting (Python; familiarity with Ansible is a plus).
- Experience with SD-WAN, VPN technologies, and public cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills; ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
