Join NovaPack Solutions, a leader in sustainable packaging solutions. We design, test, and scale packaging that protects products while reducing environmental impact. We are seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to drive innovative packaging concepts from concept through commercial launch.
In this role, you will partner with Product, Operations, and Procurement to deliver cost-competitive packaging solutions that meet performance, quality, and sustainability goals. You will lead technical investigations, run DOE studies, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end packaging development from concept through validation and production launch
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and procurement to optimize packaging formats for cost, materials, and performance
- Design, test, and validate packaging solutions ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards
- Manage BOMs, change control, supplier interactions, and qualification activities
- Drive root-cause analysis on packaging defects and implement robust corrective actions
- Lead digital tool adoption (CAD, DFM, material testing, and packaging simulations) to streamline design iterations
- Champion sustainability goals by reducing plastic usage and improving recyclability across portfolios
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of packaging design/engineering experience in consumer goods, food, or pharma
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, sealing technology, barrier properties, and labeling
- Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks, Creo) and 3D modeling; experience with packaging simulations is a plus
- Familiarity with GMP/quality systems, regulatory standards, and validation methods
- Excellent project management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and BOM management
