PetroNova Energy Solutions is seeking a Senior Petroleum Engineer to join our growing upstream team in Houston, TX. You will own reservoir engineering studies, lead development planning, and drive production optimization across a portfolio of high-value assets. This is an on-site role with occasional travel to field locations.

Responsibility
- Lead reservoir engineering studies and provide data-driven recommendations for field development and optimization.
- Develop and update field development plans, economic evaluations, and production forecasts.
- Conduct decline curve analyses, material balance assessments, and reserves estimation in accordance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with drilling, production, geology, and geophysics teams to optimize well placement and completions.
- Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and peer mentoring for junior engineers.
- Implement and validate numerical reservoir models using Eclipse, CMG, OFM, or equivalent software.
- Monitor and optimize real-time production performance, troubleshoot facility constraints, and maximize asset value.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and regulatory requirements across all operations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of upstream petroleum engineering experience with a strong track record in reservoir engineering and production optimization.
- Proficiency with reservoir simulation tools (Eclipse, CMG, OFM) and data analytics.
- Strong understanding of well performance, artificial lift, and facility constraints.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility preferred; strong certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel to field locations as required and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HSE standards and regulatory requirements in energy operations.
