Responsibility
- Plan and execute precision experiments in quantum materials and condensed matter systems, including low-temperature and high-field measurements.
- Design experiment protocols, optimize measurement setups, and ensure data quality.
- Analyze complex datasets using Python, MATLAB, and specialized physics software; model physical phenomena.
- Operate and maintain cryogenic systems, UHV chambers, and nanofabrication tools with strict safety.
- Collaborate with theorists and engineers to interpret results and guide future experiments.
- Prepare high quality technical reports and contribute to peer reviewed publications.
- Present findings at internal seminars and international conferences.
- Mentor graduate students and interns; foster a productive research environment.
Qualification
- PhD in Physics, Materials Science, or a closely related field; or equivalent research experience in quantum materials.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experimental research in low-temperature physics, cryogenics, and spectroscopy.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis with Python, MATLAB, and LabVIEW; experience with data visualization.
- Experience with cryogenic systems, vacuum technology, and high-field measurements.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and troubleshoot complex experiments; excellent record of scientific publications or conference presentations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- U.S. work authorization preferred.
