Responsibility
- Lead and execute cutting-edge research in quantum physics, photonics, or condensed matter; design experiments, collect data, and interpret results.
- Develop and validate theoretical models and numerical simulations using Python, MATLAB, and C++.
- Collaborate with experimentalists and engineers to translate theory into practical experiments and devices.
- Mentor graduate students and junior researchers, guiding project milestones and professional development.
- Publish findings in peer reviewed journals and present at conferences; contribute to grant proposals.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource planning to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Contribute to the institute's strategic research directions and high-impact publications.
Qualification
- PhD in Physics or a closely related field with demonstrated research excellence.
- 5+ years postdoctoral or industry research experience in quantum physics, optics, or condensed matter.
- Strong experimental design and data analysis skills; proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++.
- Hands-on experience with lasers, cryogenics, vacuum systems, and precision measurement techniques.
- Track record of high-quality publications and present at major conferences.
- Excellent collaboration and mentoring abilities; ability to work across disciplines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with high-performance computing and numerical simulations.
