Responsibility
- Lead and execute experimental programs in quantum materials and devices.
- Design, calibrate, and operate advanced instrumentation (cryogenic systems, spectrometers, scanning probe microscopy, etc.).
- Analyze complex data using statistical methods and software tools; develop models to interpret results.
- Collaborate with theorists and engineers to translate findings into practical technologies.
- Mentor graduate students, postdocs, and junior staff; contribute to proposal writing and project planning.
- Prepare and present results at internal meetings, conferences, and in peer-reviewed publications.
- Contribute to IP development and patent discussions with commercial partners.
Qualification
- PhD in Physics or a closely related field; multiple years of hands-on experimental experience in quantum materials or condensed matter physics.
- Strong experimental skills and familiarity with cryogenics, low-temperature measurements, and precision instrumentation.
- Proficiency in data analysis using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools; experience with machine learning for data interpretation is a plus.
- Proven track record of research productivity: publications, conference presentations, and grant contributions.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and mentoring abilities; ability to work effectively in cross-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced R&D environment.
