Join Nimbus Labs, a fast-growing tech company redefining backend platforms for developers. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead strategic initiatives for our Platform and API ecosystem. You will partner with engineering, design, data science, and GTM to craft roadmaps that scale globally and delight developers.
What you’ll own:
- Drive the strategy and roadmap for the Platform and API products, aligning with company OKRs.
- Define success metrics, collect customer and partner feedback, and translate insights into actionable initiatives.
- Collaborate with Platform, API, and Developer Experience teams to deliver reliable, scalable APIs and SDKs.
- Lead cross-functional rituals (PRDs, spec reviews, quarterly planning, and release planning).
- Mentor Product Managers and promote best practices in product discovery, UX, and data-driven decision making.
- Partner with customers and partners to shape API offerings and pricing models.
- Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards across platform features.
- Represent the platform in executive reviews and external partnerships.
Responsibility
- Own and prioritize the Platform & API roadmap, balancing customer needs with business goals.
- Define requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring clear communication to engineering and design teams.
- Partner with analytics to measure product success and iterate based on data.
- Collaborate with UX to design intuitive developer experiences and documentation.
- Lead cross-functional planning, risk assessment, and release management.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through transparent prioritization and reporting.
- Drive go-to-market strategies with product marketing and sales teams.
- Champion a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Product Design, or a related field; MBA or equivalent a plus.
- 5+ years as a product manager or equivalent role in platform/services or developer-focused products.
- Proven track record delivering scalable APIs and developer experiences.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making and A/B testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration across engineering, design, and business teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira or similar tools, and roadmapping.
- Customer-obsessed mindset with ability to translate feedback into actionable specs.
- Gentle leadership style with ability to mentor junior PMs and influence without authority.
