NovaPack Solutions is a premium packaging innovator delivering eco conscious, design forward packaging for consumer brands. We are seeking a Senior Product Packaging Engineer to lead end to end packaging development from concept through production. You will collaborate with design, marketing and supply chain to create packaging that balances aesthetics, protection, cost and sustainability.

Responsibility
- Lead end to end packaging development from concept to production ready designs and documentation
- Collaborate with design, marketing and supply chain to optimize form, function, cost and sustainability
- Select materials and packaging structures; define tests and specifications
- Manage supplier relationships and qualify new materials and converters
- Oversee performance validation including drop, compression, seal, environmental and shelf life testing
- Lead design for manufacturability and scale up for mass production
- Maintain and govern BOMs, timelines and project budgets; mentor junior engineers
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or related field; Masters preferred
- 5+ years in packaging design and development for consumer products
- Proficiency with CAD/3D modeling and packaging simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials and sustainability practices
- Hands on testing and validation experience and knowledge of regulatory labeling
- Excellent cross functional collaboration and project management skills
- Experience with supplier management and risk assessment
- Ability to travel as needed up to 15%
