NovaWave Technologies is seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced digital environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape strategy, manage complex programs, and partner with executives to drive tangible business outcomes in New York City.
As a trusted PM, you will own end-to-end delivery, optimize processes, and mentor teams to achieve excellence. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and finance to ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibility
- Lead planning sessions and define project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans; manage risk and issue logs.
- Partner with product, engineering, and operations to ensure alignment and timely execution of initiatives.
- Monitor progress, report status to executives, and adjust plans as needed to keep programs on track.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks; implement preventative measures and contingency plans.
- Coach cross-functional teams, promote a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards, governance, and best practices; drive process optimization across programs.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive project management experience in tech or digital environments.
- Proven track record delivering complex programs on time and within budget.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification; Agile/Scrum certifications a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills at all levels.
- Hands-on experience with project tools (Jira, MS Project, Asana) and proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with strategic thinking and execution focus.
