NovaCore Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives in a fast-growing environment. This full-time role is based in San Francisco, CA, and offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
In this role you will partner with product, engineering, operations, and executive teams to deliver programs that align with business goals, while mentoring project managers and shaping PMO practices.
Responsibility
- Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver initiatives on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk registers.
- Own stakeholder communications, status reporting, and issue escalation to facilitate timely decisions.
- Define and implement PMO processes, tailoring Agile/Hybrid methodologies to each project.
- Drive change management, user adoption, and training plans to ensure successful outcomes.
- Monitor key performance indicators, forecast resource needs, and manage budgets and risks.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and design teams to ensure alignment and quality.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of project or program management experience in technology or software development.
- Proven track record delivering complex programs with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies; familiar with Jira, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
- Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets and large cross-functional teams.
