As a trusted PMO leader, you will own end-to-end delivery, ensure alignment with business goals, and drive continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.
Responsibility
- Lead cross-functional project teams to plan, execute, and deliver strategic initiatives on time and within budget.
- Define scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, and success criteria; maintain project roadmaps and status dashboards.
- Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to facilitate planning, ceremonies, and decision-making.
- Develop and manage project budgets, resource plans, vendor contracts, and outsourcing arrangements.
- Implement PMO standards, governance, change control, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
- Monitor progress using metrics and dashboards; proactively identify issues and drive corrective actions.
- Communicate clearly with executives and stakeholders; manage expectations and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field; PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred.
- 5+ years of project management experience in IT, software development, or digital initiatives.
- Proven track record delivering complex, multi-team projects in a matrixed environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet) and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks; ability to tailor approach to project needs.
- Budgeting, risk management, vendor management, and contract negotiation experience.
