Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to raise brand awareness and media visibility across traditional and digital channels.
- Build, nurture, and manage relationships with national and local media outlets, journalists, influencers, and thought leaders.
- Draft high-impact press releases, media pitches, briefings, op-eds, and executive communications; coordinate interviews and media engagements.
- Lead crisis communications planning and response, providing timely guidance to executives and cross-functional teams.
- Plan and execute events, press conferences, and product launches to maximize earned media opportunities.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on media coverage; translate insights into actionable PR strategies and dashboards for leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing, digital, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and integrated campaigns.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive PR experience in agency, corporate, or nonprofit settings with a proven track record of securing high-profile media coverage.
- Strong media relations skills with an established network of journalists and influencers.
- Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience developing and executing crisis communications plans and handling high-pressure situations.
- Strategic thinker with project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional campaigns.
- Proficiency with PR analytics tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater) and social media listening platforms; data-driven mindset.
