Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies for multiple clients, aligning with business goals and brand voice.
- Build and maintain relationships with national, regional, and trade media; secure high-profile coverage and thought leadership opportunities.
- Lead the development of press materials, including press releases, media pitches, statements, Q&As, and briefing documents.
- Manage crisis communications and provide proactive counsel to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee media monitoring, analytics, and reporting; translate insights into actionable optimization plans.
- Mentor junior team members, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional collaboration with marketing, events, and digital teams.
- Plan and execute media events, press conferences, and influencer engagements to maximize exposure.
- Drive brand storytelling initiatives, including executive profiling and thought leadership programs.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive PR experience, with a proven track record of securing national media coverage.
- Strong media relations network and ability to pitch complex stories to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional writing and editorial skills; ability to tailor messages for different outlets and audiences.
- Crisis communication expertise and ability to manage high-stakes situations calmly.
- Leadership and people management skills; comfortable mentoring junior staff and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Data-driven mindset; proficiency with media monitoring, analytics tools, and reporting dashboards.
- Proactive, strategic thinker with strong project management and organizational skills.
