Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies that align with client goals and brand positioning.
- Lead media relations efforts, secure high-profile coverage, and manage journalist relationships across national and trade outlets.
- Draft press releases, bylined articles, briefing documents, and spokesperson materials for multiple audiences.
- Lead crisis communications planning and rapid response to protect brand reputation.
- Oversee media list development, journalist profiling, and outreach campaigns with measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with marketing, digital, and events teams on integrated campaigns and product launches.
- Mentor and manage junior staff, agency partners, and interns to build a strong PR function.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of public relations or corporate communications experience, preferably in a fast-paced agency or corporate setting.
- Proven writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio of successful media coverage.
- Strong media relations network across national outlets, trade press, and digital publishers.
- Experience leading crisis communications and issue management with calm, strategic judgment.
- Excellent project management, organization, and leadership abilities with a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in PR analytics, measurement, and social listening tools to inform strategy.
