Join Lumina Communications as a Senior Public Relations Manager, leading strategic initiatives and shaping our clients' reputations in a fast-paced media landscape. This client-facing, cross-functional role focuses on storytelling, media outreach, and crisis management across consumer, tech, and corporate sectors.
In this role, you will partner with C-suite executives, marketing, product, and digital teams to craft compelling campaigns, secure mainstream and trade coverage, and measure impact with data-driven metrics.
We seek a proactive communicator who can translate complex ideas into clear narratives, cultivate lasting relationships with reporters, editors, and influencers, and mentor junior team members to raise the practice standards of our PR programs.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and execution of integrated PR campaigns aligned with client objectives and business goals.
- Develop compelling storylines, media materials, and executive positioning to drive earned coverage across national, regional, and trade outlets.
- Manage media relations, respond to inquiries, and secure proactive media opportunities in fast-paced environments.
- Oversee crisis communications planning and response, including rapid counseling and messaging for clients.
- Collaborate with marketing, events, and content teams to ensure consistent brand storytelling across channels.
- Track, analyze, and report PR impact using dashboards and KPIs (reach, sentiment, share of voice, media value).
- Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance on writing, outreach, and project management.
- Cultivate an industry network and maintain strong relationships with reporters, editors, influencers, and stakeholders.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive PR experience with a track record of successful media placements.
- Strong relationships with national and trade media, editors, and influencers.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with crisis management, issue monitoring, and rapid-response messaging.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in PR analytics tools and dashboards.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
