Responsibility
- Develop and lead comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns for clients across multiple sectors, aligning with business goals and budget.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with national and trade media, influencers, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee press materials including press releases, media briefs, crisis statements, and executive thought leadership pieces.
- Monitor, measure, and report on media coverage, campaign performance, and share of voice; provide actionable insights.
- Lead media training and interview coaching for senior executives and client spokespeople.
- Collaborate with marketing, digital, and content teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across channels.
- Manage PR budgets, timelines, and resource allocation; mentor junior team members.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible PR experience, preferably in an agency setting.
- Proven track record securing high-profile media placements and handling crisis communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and storytelling.
- Strong media relationships across national and trade outlets; comfortable presenting to executives.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns concurrently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency with PR tools (Cision, Meltwater, PR Newswire, Muck Rack) and social listening platforms.
