NovaTech Solutions is expanding its QA team. We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust QA processes in an Agile environment. You will collaborate with product and development teams to deliver high quality software across web and mobile platforms. Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data to verify functionality and performance.
- Design and implement robust automation tests using Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to define quality goals and release criteria.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to run automated tests and accelerate feedback.
- Identify, track, and verify defects; perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
- Lead QA activities in Agile ceremonies; mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices.
- Perform risk-based testing and exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and ensure user satisfaction.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of QA/testing experience in software development.
- Strong automation experience with Selenium WebDriver and a programming language (Java or Python).
- Experience with API testing (Postman or REST tools) and SQL for data validation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with performance testing and/or mobile QA is a plus.
- Knowledge of QA metrics and quality assurance processes.
