You will partner with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to ensure reliable releases and exceptional user experiences.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will own test strategy, plan and execute tests, build automated tests, and help shape QA processes that accelerate delivery without compromising quality.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Lead manual and automated testing efforts, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust automated test suites using relevant frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, etc.).
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage during sprint cycles.
- Identify, track, and help resolve defects with clear reproduction steps and risk assessment.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices, standards, and metrics.
- Contribute to release readiness, risk analysis, and post-release validation.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of QA experience in software development, ideally with web and mobile apps
- Strong experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
- Proficiency in test design, test case management, and defect tracking (Jira, TestRail)
- Solid knowledge of API testing and tools (Postman, REST Assured)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to mentor others
