Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile apps.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design to define acceptance criteria and quality metrics.
- Identify, reproduce, and track defects; work with teams to prioritize and resolve.
- Perform API testing and integration testing; validate backend services.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies; contribute to release readiness and risk assessment.
- Mentor junior QA engineers; promote QA process improvements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of QA engineering in software development.
- Strong experience with manual and automated testing across web/mobile; proficiency in automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RESTAssured) and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and defect tracking tools (Jira).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work in Agile/Scrum.
- Proven ability to design maintainable test architectures and mentor others.
