Join NovaTech Solutions as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in Seattle. Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure product quality across features and platforms.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, and integration) to accelerate release cycles.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps to define quality gates and release criteria.
- Perform API, UI, regression, performance, and security testing as part of end-to-end validation.
- Identify, triage, and track defects; perform root-cause analysis and verify fixes.
- Lead test data management, environment setup, and test case design for complex scenarios.
- Mentor junior QA engineers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to quality culture.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by advocating for testing best practices and metrics.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience in software development environments.
- Strong automation skills with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with API testing (REST/GraphQL) using Postman, Newman, or similar tools; knowledge of schema and data validation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).
- Proficiency in SQL and data validation; ability to craft test data and validate results against data sources.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Ability to write clear test plans, cases, and defect reports; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
