Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases that align with product goals and quality standards.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for web and API services using modern frameworks.
  • Execute manual and automated tests; document results and communicate critical defects to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality gates in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to building a scalable QA process.
  • Analyze root causes of defects, perform risk assessments, and drive preventive actions.
  • Contribute to performance, security, and localization testing as needed.
  • Continuously improve testing tools, processes, and metrics to raise product quality.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on quality assurance experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in test automation using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Experience with API testing (REST, GraphQL) and tools like Postman or Insomnia.
  • Solid programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript (or Python) to build maintainable tests.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and test integration in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills; ability to translate complex issues into actionable fixes.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies; QA certifications are a plus.
