In this role, you will own QA strategy, craft comprehensive test plans, and drive automation initiatives that shorten release cycles while maintaining top-tier quality.

Responsibility

  • Define and execute QA strategy across web and mobile apps, ensuring quality gates in every release.
  • Design, maintain and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and risk-based test matrices.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Playwright or Cypress; integrate with CI/CD.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to clarify requirements, acceptance criteria, and ensure testability.
  • Identify, document, track and verify defects; perform root cause analysis and preventive actions.
  • Mentor and coach junior QA engineers; contribute to process improvements and QA governance.
  • Conduct performance, security and accessibility testing as needed; participate in release readiness and risk reviews.
  • Build dashboards and metrics to measure quality and test coverage; report status to stakeholders.

Qualification

  • 5+ years of experience in QA for software products; 2+ years in lead or senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and risk-based testing.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation using Selenium, Playwright or Cypress; proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and performance testing (k6, JMeter).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Familiarity with agile/Scrum and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
