Join Apex Precision Manufacturing, a leader in high-precision components for aerospace and medical devices. Weβre seeking a proactive Senior Quality Control Specialist to ensure product integrity from incoming materials to final shipment.
As part of our Quality team, you will drive quality through data-driven inspection programs, supplier collaboration, and rigorous process controls. This role offers opportunities to impact product quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibility
- Lead and document QC inspections at all production stages, ensuring adherence to defined acceptance criteria.
- Develop and implement inspection plans, statistical process control (SPC) charts, and sampling strategies.
- Perform root cause analysis for non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with manufacturing and supplier teams to drive process improvements and quality capability.
- Review calibration, metrology, and control plans; maintain accurate quality records and lot traceability.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, GMP, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Train operators on quality standards, inspection methods, and documentation practices.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace or medical devices.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, SPC, QMS, and RCA methodologies.
- Experience with calibration and metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM) and measurement data analysis.
- Familiarity with CAPA systems, non-conformance management, and quality documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- ISO 13485 knowledge and Six Sigma Green Belt are a plus.
