- Develop robust experimental protocols, automate data collection, and optimize measurement chains.
- Collaborate with theory, engineering, and computational groups to translate findings into actionable insights.
- Analyze complex datasets, interpret results, and present findings in internal reviews, journals, and conferences.
- Mentor graduate students, postdocs, and junior staff; contribute to training programs.
- Prepare grant proposals, manage project timelines, and assist with budgeting and resource planning.
- Contribute to instrument development, procurement, and safety compliance in the laboratory environment.
Qualification
- PhD in Physics or a closely related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in experimental quantum physics or quantum materials research.
- Proficiency in data analysis and scientific programming (Python, MATLAB); experience with LabVIEW or similar instrumentation control is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with cryogenic systems, low-temperature measurements, high vacuum, and precision spectroscopy.
- Strong publication record with demonstrated ability to communicate complex results clearly.
- Excellent collaboration and written/spoken communication skills; comfortable working in a cross-functional team.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances or work authorization for the United States as required.
