What you’ll do
- Architect, design, and implement scalable backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to deliver robust software solutions.
- Write clean, well-documented code and implement automated tests.
- Drive performance optimization and security best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.
- Own feature delivery from planning through deployment and monitoring.
- Contribute to the evolution of engineering practices in a remote-first environment.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in one or more major languages (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, Go).
- Experience building and operating microservices in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git workflows, testing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, proactive problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
