Responsibility
- Lead and manage complex research projects from concept to publication, including study design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Oversee experimental design and rigorous data quality assurance across multiple ongoing studies.
- Mentor graduate students, postdocs, and research staff; foster a collaborative and inclusive lab culture.
- Prepare, submit, and manage research proposals, grants, and internal funding applications.
- Publish findings in high-impact peer-reviewed journals; present at conferences and seminars.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to translate research into practical applications and educational resources.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards, data governance, and safety regulations.
- Drive open science practices, data sharing, and reproducibility initiatives.
Qualification
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g., biomedical sciences, engineering, cognitive science) or equivalent research experience with a strong publication record.
- 5+ years of post-PhD research experience in a lab setting; demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Proven expertise in experimental design, statistics, and data analysis using Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Track record of securing research funding or contributing to grant proposals.
- Excellent scientific writing and communication skills; ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong collaboration and mentoring abilities; experience supervising students and junior researchers.
- Proficiency with data management, version control, and reproducibility practices.
